Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) has released a notification for the recruitment of 182 Flying, Ground Duty (Tech) and Ground Duty (Non-tech) in various branches. Interested candidates may check the vacancy details and apply online from 16-06-2018 to 15-07-2018.

Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT Flying and Ground Duty (Tech & Non-tech):
Educational Qualification: 
For Flying: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Maths and Physics with at least 60% marks in each subject and B.E./B.Tech. Degree from a recognised university.
For Ground Duty (Tech): Candidates must have 4-year Degree qualification and have cleared Sections A and B Examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with minimum 60% marks.
For Ground Duty (Non-tech): Candidates must have passed B.Com. with minimum 60% marks. For education posts, the candidates must have passed MBA/MCA or M.A./M.Sc. Degree in English/Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Statistics/International Relations/International Studies/Defence Studies/Psychology/Computer Science/IT/Management/Mass Communication/Journalism/Public Relation with minimum of 50% marks and have scored minimum 60% marks in graduation.
Age Limit (as on 01-07-2019): 
For Flying: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 24 years
For Ground Duty (Tech & Non-tech): Minimum 20 years and Maximum 26 years
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Computer Based Online Test, Psychological Test, Group Tests and Personal Interview.
Application Fee: All candidates have to pay Rs. 250 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card. Candidates with Meteorology Entry and NCC Special Entry don’t have to pay any fee.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: For Flying Branch- Candidate must have a graduate in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or B.E/B. Tech with minimum 60% marks.

For Ground Duty (Technical)- Candidates must have a graduation level degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level with minimum 60% marks.

For Ground Duty (Non-Technical)-Candidates must have graduation level degree any discipline with minimum 60% marks and obtain 60% marks in Section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).

Age Limit: For Flying Branch- 20 to 24 Years

For Ground Duty- 20 to 26 Years

 

 

AFCAT II 2018 Eligibility Criteria :

To Apply for the AFCAT 2 2018 examination, the candidate must have to eligible as per the AFCAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria. All the interested candidates must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria prescribed by concerned examination authority to appear in AFCAT 2018 exam. Let’s have a look at educational qualification:-

Educational Qualification: Education qualification is based on the branch. Here, we have mentioned education qualification branch wise.

Flying Branch

  • Candidate must have a graduate in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or B.E/B. Tech with minimum 60% marks. OR
  • Candidates must have secured 60% marks in Section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).

Ground Duty (Technical)

  • Candidates must have a graduation level degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level with minimum 60% marks. OR
  • A candidate must have completed 4 years graduation or integration Post graduation in Engineering/Technology OR
  • A candidate must obtain 60% marks in Section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).

Ground Duty (Non-Technical)

  • Candidates must have graduation level degree any discipline with minimum 60% marks and obtain 60% marks in Section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).

AFCAT Cut Off 2018 :

AFCAT Cut-off Marks are the minimum marks which are required to qualify in this examination. AFCAT Cut-Off Marks 2018 will be released soon after the declaration of result. The AFCAT Cut-Off 2018 marks will be based on difficulty level of the paper and number of students appeared in the examination. You can check previous year cut off marks of AFCAT exam.
