UPSC CAPF 2023 Exam Pattern
Written exam for successfully applied candidates will be conducted on Aug 06, 2023, The written exam ill comprise two papers. Paper I Paper II.
UPSC CAPF AC Exam Pattern 2023:
Paper 1: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks. The questions in this paper will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which the questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.
Paper 2: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension – 200 Marks. The candidates will b asked for writing the Essay Component in English/Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/ language skills will be English only.

ELIGIBILITY Criteria
Nationality | The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidates who are subjects to Nepal and Bhutan are also allowed to apply in the exam. No other candidate can apply for the UPSC CAPF exam. |
Age Limit | The lower age limit for the CAPF exam is 20 years and the upper age limit is less than 25 years. The age of the candidate is calculated from August 1 2023 of the exam year. For the candidates appearing in the UPSC CAPF exam 2021, the candidates must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1996 and not later than August 1, 2001. |
Educational Qualification for CAPF 2021 | As given in the official CAPF notification, “the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university”. The candidates who are in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the exam but they have to produce the final year mark sheet of the qualifying exam with the detailed application form.
Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificates: Candidates in the possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate will be given preference at the time of Interview. It should be noted that these qualifications will be given consideration only at the time of the Interview/Personality Test. |
