Application Fee

• For General: Rs. 1000/-
• For OBC-Non Creamy Layer: Rs. 500/-
• For SC/ ST/ PwD: Rs. 250/-
• Fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking

Important Dates

• Starting Date for Apply Online: 16-03-2020
• Last Date to Apply Online: 16-04-2020 (upto 11:50 pm)
• Last date of payment of fee through Credit/ Debit/ Net Banking (through e-challan upto bank hours): 17-04-2020 (upto 11:50 pm)
• Date for Correction in Particulars of Application Form on website only: 18 to 24-04-2020
• Downloading of Admit Cards from NTA website: 15-05-2020
• Date of Examination (CBT): 15 to 20-06-2020
• Declaration of Result on NTA website: 05-07-2020

Age Limit

• For JRF: Not more than 30 years as on 01-06-2020
• For Asst Professor: There is no upper age limit.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Qualification

• Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.

 

 

 

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET 2020:

Educational Qualification: • Candidates should have passed Post Graduation Degree from universities/institutions recognised by UGC with at least 55% marks. • Candidates in final year of their Master’s degree can also apply.

Age Limit (as on 01-06-2020) : Maximum 30 years

Age Relaxation:

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Computer Based Test.
