SSC IMD Scientific Assistant Eligibility
- Bachelor Degree in Science (Physics as One of the Subject) / Computer Science / IT / Computer Application. OR
- Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
- Note 1 : Degree or Diploma referred above should be in First Class (60% marks) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
- Note 2 : Degree or Diploma referred above must be of three (3) years duration after (10+2) examination.
- Note 3 : 10+2 Intermediate Examination from a
- Recognized Board or equivalent in Science with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects.

SSC Scientific Assistant IMD Nationality
The candidates must fulfil either of the following nationality criteria:
- Citizen of India or,
- A Subject of Nepal or Bhutan or,
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1962, to settle here permanently or,
- Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan/Burma/Sri Lanka/East African Countries of Kenya/Uganda/United Republic of Tanzania/Zambia. Zaire/Malawi/Ethiopia/Vietnam to settle in India permanently.
SSC Scientific Assistant IMD Exam Pattern 2022
The exam for SSC Scientific Assistant IMD will be a Computer Based Test with 2 sections of 100 marks each. Given below are the details of the SSC Scientific Assistant Exam Pattern.
- The question paper will be available in English & Hindi languages (except English Language & Comprehension).
- Questions in Part II will be on the basis of the subject opted for by the candidate while filling out the application form.
- For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be considered for negative marking.
- The total time allocated for both parts is 2 hours.
- The SSC Scientific Assistant IMD Exam is conducted in online mode only
- Question paper consists of two parts Part I & Part II of a total of 200 Questions.
- The Time duration for both parts of the Exam is 2 hours.
- Each question carries 1 mark for every correct answer.
