Official SSC Scientific Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2017

As per the official SSC Scientific Assistant Notification, the Educational Qualification and Age Limit for applying for the exam are:

A. Educational Qualification:
10+2 with Physics & Maths as Core Subjects
Minimum 60% in Bachelors of Science with Physics as one of the subjects
OR
3 Year Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
The qualifying Degree or Diploma must be of three (3) years duration after (10+2) examination.
B. Experience Requirements:
No Prior Experience Required
C. Age Limit (as on 01/08/2017):
Minimum Age – 18 Years
Maximum Age – 30 Years

D. Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 Years
OBC – 3 Years
PH – 10 Years
Ex-Servicemen – 3 Years

IMPORTANT POINTS  OF CLARIFICATION :-

 

1.The qualifying Degree or Diploma must be of three (3) years duration after (10+2) examination

 

2. B.tech\BE Students can also apply if there branch is relevant.

 

3. B.Tech or B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering in lieu of Diploma in Electronics and

   Telecommunication Engineering, you will be considered eligible for the post. Also, Diploma in

   Electronics and Communication Engineering in lieu of Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication
