The SSC MTS and Havaldar 2023 notification officially released the number of vacancies, application dates, eligibility, age limit, syllabus, exam pattern, exam centre list and the rules that will govern the conduct of exams. SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) exam is conducted to recruit candidates for multiple non-technical positions in the Central Government Ministries and departments. The SSC MTS exam 2023 will be conducted to recruit candidates for the following posts:

- Daftary
- Junior Gestetner Operator
- Peon
- Jamadar
- Chowkidar

SSC MTS 2023
SSC MTS notification 2023 officially notified the rules and regulations for the exam. The candidates are required to read the official notification to understand the process of the exam. The Commission will conduct the SSC MTS paper 1 2023 at a pan-India level in online mode in April 2023. The Commission added Havaldar’s post to the SSC MTS 2023 notification because of the Central Government Affirmation of increasing recruitment in the Central Government Ministries, departments and institutions.

SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process
The eligible candidates for SSC Multi Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted on the basis of three stages. A candidate needs to qualify in each stage with marks more than the cut-off announced. The three stages to be cleared are as below-
Stage 1- Paper-1 (Objective)
Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar)
Stage 3- Paper-2 (Descriptive)
SSC MTS 2023 Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS 2023 will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paper-1, PET/PST (only for havaldar). Paper-1 is an online exam that is objective multiple choice question type.
SSC MTS 2023 Paper-1 Exam Pattern
The revised SSC MTS Paper-I Exam Pattern has been released along with SSC MTS Notification 2023. There will be Computer-Based Examination which is divided in 2 Sessions. Session-I and Session-II and both the Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Session 2 and there will be no negative marking in Session-1.

SSC MTS Syllabus 2023
The subject-wise syllabus for the SSC MTS 2023 written exam is given here:
Numerical and Mathematical Ability: It will include questions on problems relating to Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals and Fractions, Relationship between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and BODMAS, Percentage, Ratio and Proportions, Work and Time, Direct and inverse Proportions, Averages, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Area, and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures, Distance and Time, Lines and Angles, Interpretation of simple Graphs and Data, Square and Square roots, etc.
Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving: The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates’ general learning ability. The questions will be broadly based on Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Nonverbal Reasoning based on diagrams, Age Calculations, Calendar, and Clock, etc.
General Awareness: The broad coverage of the test will be on Social Studies (History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science, and Environmental studies up to the 10th Standard.
English Language and Comprehension: Candidates’ understanding of the basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and correct usage, etc. and to test comprehension, a simple paragraph may be given and question based on the paragraph to be asked.
