SBI CBO Selection Process

There will be three rounds:

  1. Online Examination – The online exam will consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Tests for 50 marks.
  2. Screening – Online applications and documents of candidates, who are shortlisted based on performance in online examination, will be placed before the Screening Committee.
  3. Interview – The interview will be for 50 marks

SBI CBO Recruitment 2022: Online Exam Pattern

The Online Test for SBI CBO will consist of 2 stages: Objective Test and Descriptive test. The objective test will be of 120 marks and the descriptive test will be of 50 marks. 120 questions will be asked from the four sections for which the candidates will be allotted 2 Hours time duration. There is no negative marking in the objective test. The online exam pattern for the objective test is given below.

The key features of the descriptive test are:

The final merit list will be based upon the aggregate marks obtained in the online test. There will be no sectional qualifying marks for SBI CBO Online Exam.

SBI CBO Recruitment 2022: Salary

SBI offers a handsome amount of salary to the circle-based officers. The starting basic pay of the candidates recruited for the post of CBO is Rs.36,000. The scale of pay for SBI CBO is 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. The candidates having more than 2 years of experience in scheduled commercial bank/regional rural bank are eligible for plus 2 advance increments. Other than salary aspirants will also be benefitted with several allowances such as DA, HRA, CCA, Medical, and other allowances.

SBI CBO 2021-22 Expected Cut-off- Category-wise

The SBI CBO final result will be declared in March 2022 and the cut-offs will be declared along with result by the officials. However, they are expected soon and till then we have provided a list of expected cut-offs according to the category.

SBI CBO 2022 Merit List

The SBI CBO results are released in two stages. The first result is released after the Objective-type Computer Based Test which was conducted November 28, 2020 for this recruitment phase. The list of shortlisted students for the SBI CBO Interview round was released on January 28, 2022. The next and the final result is published after the interview rounds, conducted this year in the month of February, 2022. The admit cards for the Interview Rounds were released on February 05, 2022.

The Online test is conducted to shortlist the students and consists of 200 marks while the Interview is conducted for final selection and consists of 100 marks.
