RRB Group D Admit Card 2018 Download to Start Four Days Prior to Exam, Check Zones wise Process
RRB Group D Admit Card 2018 will be available for download to the candidates four days prior to the exam zonewise. Candidates need to keep an eye on the official site of the respective Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), where they have applied, for admit card. RRB Group D exam is scheduled to start from 09 August.
The computer based test (CBT) of RRB Group D 2018 will be conducted on 09 August 2018 across the country. This examination will fill up 62907 Group D staffs in Indian Railway. The Board has released the mock test link on 26 July 2018 and candidates can participate on the online mock test by signing in through their user name and password.
The posts under Group D are of Track Maintainer, Gateman, Pointsman, Helper in Electrical / Mechanical / Engineering / Signal & Telecommunication departments, Porters & some others. The salary of a Group D staff is Rs 18000/- per month.

- Candidates have to visit the official site of the respective zone of the Indian Railways.
- Click on the link of News & Recruitment provided on the top panel of the site.
- Click on Railway Recruitment Board available in the News & Recruitment section.
- Check your respective regions and click on it.
- The second outbox will have all the updated links of RRB ALP & Technician Recruitment 2018.
- lick on the Admit card link.
- You will have to enter roll number, date of birth and password to receive the admit card.
- Now, to get your admit card click on submit button.
- Download the admit card and take a print out of it for further reference.

RRB Group D Admit Card 2018: Exam Schedule
The examination will be conducted in alphabetic order, as per the scheudle given below-
- For A,B,T,Q,O,L,F,E , exam will be conducted on 12th August 2018.
- R,Y,H,N will have to appear for exam on 18th August 2018.
- K,M,V is schedule on 26th August 2018
- C,I,S alphabets will sit for exam on 09th September 2018
- U,W,X,Y,Z,G,P,J,D will be taking up the exam on 16th September 2018
Exam Pattern for RRB Group D Examination 2018
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written Examination, Personal Interview followed by Document Verification. The written examination will be Computer Based Test and candidates will have to answer objective questions. Questions will be asked from these subjects- Mathematics, General Intelligence and reasoning Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series & General Science.

Question Type and Syllabus:
The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to:
a. Mathematics
Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.
b. General Intelligence and reasoning
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
c. General Science
The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level.
d. General Awareness on current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subjects of importance.
(B) Physical Efficiency Tests (Pet)
Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, candidates shall be called for PET Two times the community wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit as required to ensure availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts.
