Job Profile : Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, etc.
Para-Medical Staff Posts like Staff Nurse, Health & Malaria Inspector, Pharmacist, ECG Technician, Lab Assistant, Lab Superintendent, etc.
Ministerial And Isolated Categories Posts like Stenographer, Chief Law Assistant, Junior Translator (Hindi), etc.

RRB NTPC Syllabus 2019:
RRB NTPC Syllabus 2016: RRB NTPC result for 1st stage CBT has been released by Railway Recruitment board. More than 80 lakhs candidates appeared for RRB NTPC 1st stage CBT Exam. According to sources approx 270000 candidates will be appearing for RRB NTPC 2nd Stage CBT Exam to be conducted in the month of November/ December 2016.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern:
RRB NTPC Exam will be conducted in two stages i.e RRB NTPC 1st stage CBT or Prelims and RRB NTPC 2nd Stage CBT or Mains Exam. Railway Recruitment board has not made much changes in Exam pattern & Syllabus for prelims and Mains.
RRB NTPC Prelims Exam Pattern:
RRB NTPC 1st stage CBT or Prelims exam will comprise of 4 sections i.e. Arithmetic Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence, General Awareness and General Science comprising of total 100 questions of 1 mark each.
- RRB NTPC Prelims exam will comprise of 4 sections i.e Reasoning Ability & General Intelligence, Arithmetic Ability, General Awareness and General Science.
- A total of 100 question will be asked in the exam.
- Candidates will have a composite time of 90 minutes to solve all the sections.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.

RRB NTPC Prelims Exam Pattern:
RRB NTPC 2st stage CBT or Mains exam will comprise of 4 sections i.e. Arithmetic Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence, General Awareness and General Science comprising of total 100 questions of 1 mark each.
