RRB JE Notification 2019: Railway Recruitment Board has released RRB JE recruitment 2018-19 notification for total 13,487 vacancies of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The RRB JE exam date schedule has been recently released by the board. The online application for RRB JE recruitment 2018-19 has begun from 2nd January 2019 at the regional sites of RRB. 31st Jan 2019 is the last date

Lately, RRB has revised the RRB JE vacancies and reduced 14,033 vacancies to 13,487 vacancies of Junior Engineers. The RRB JE exam date 2019 is not out yet but the tentative exam month has been declared. RRB JE Salary

The candidates under RRB JE Recruitment will get Level 6th of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 35,400/- and other allowances as admissible by RRB. Below is the classification of salary in different cities.

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2018-19

1. Age Limit

The minimum age limit to apply for RRB JE/DMS/CMA is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 33 years as on 01st January 2019. Please refer to the notification for the age relaxation of various category.

Examination Fee

  • For General: Rs.500/-
  • For SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-S/ Women/ Transgender/ EBC/ Minorities: Rs.250/-

  • Last Date to Apply Online: 31-01-2019 at 23:59 Hrs

Online Application

The online application for RRB Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) has begun from 2nd January 2019. You can apply online at the regional site of RRB. Make sure you apply online on/before 31st January 2019. Also, check eligibility before you apply online.

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2018-19

1. Age Limit

Note: Those who are in the final year of their degree/diploma cannot apply for any post under RRB JE. For further details, please refer to the RRB JE Eligibility 2018-19.

Selection Process

There will be a total three stages of selection:

  • Computer Based Test (CBT 1 & 2): The selection for the CBT 2 will be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of CBT 1. The shortlisting of the candidates will be done at the rate of 15 times.

Admit Card

The RRB JE admit card will be made available on the regional site of RRB. We will update the direct link to download the admit card for your respective RRB region.

Result

The result will be declared for CBT after the successful completion of the exam. Candidates who will clear the CBT will appear for Document Verification and Medical Examination.
