| Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force Recruitment (2017): |
| Educational Qualification: Airman Group X (Technical Trades): Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English OR must have passed Three-year Diploma Course in the relevant stream from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course. Airman Group Y (Non-Technical Trades): Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2 or an equivalent examination in any stream/subject approved by Central/State Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
