CBSE UGC NET Results 2018: It is expected that the results of National Eligibility Test will be announced on 31 July 2018 by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates can check their result to the official website of CBSE NET.

The exam for National Eligibility Test was conducted on 8 July 2018 for 84 subjects at 91 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country. As per reports, 11,48,235 candidates were applied for UGC NET this year.

Those who qualify the JRF will be eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or also eligible for Assistant Professor. The award of JRF and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both OR Eligibility for Assistant Professor only will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET.

Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website and putting all required credentials i.e. application number, roll number, dob etc. and then they can download their result.

UGC NET exam will be the last ever exam which is conducted by CBSE Because Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has replaced the duty of CBSE with newly formed National Testing Agency (NTA). Now, the National Testing Agency will conduct competitive exams like NEET, JEE (Main), UGC NET, CMAT and others. The syllabus, language alternative, nature of exam, examination fee will remain same but the mode of examination will be online.
