Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree/ Equivalent from any recognized University.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Preliminary Exam, Main Exam & Physical Efficiency Test.

Time – 120 Minutes

Subject – GK GS and Current Affairs

Passing Marks – 60

Negative Marking – 0.2

Note: Passing marks will not ensure your selection for Mains Examination. It is minimum marks that makes you eligible for mains examination. Your selection for mains examination will depends on cutoff marks.

Total number of students to be selected after prelims examination will be 20 times of the vacancy as per quota

Bihar Police Daroga Physical Standard:

• Height:

Height of Male Candidates who belongs to General Category: Minimum of 165 cms

Height of Male Candidates who belongs to Reserved Category: Minimum of 160 cms

Height of Female Candidate: Minimum of 160 cms

The weight of Female Candidates: Minimum of 48 Kg.

 

Chest(Male):

For General Category, BC and EBC male Candidates:

Minimum 81 cm without expansion.

Minimum of 86 cm with expansion.

5 cm expansion is required

For SC/ST Candidates:

Minimum 79 cm without expansion and

Minimum of 84 cm with expansion

5 cm Expansion is required

Bihar Police Sub Inspector Physical Test Details:

• Race/Running:

For Male candidates: Time taken by the male candidate to compete 1 Mile (1.61 KM) race must not be more than 6 minutes.

For Female candidates: Time taken by the female candidate to compete 1 KM race must not be more than 6 minutes.

• Height Jump:

For Male Candidates: Minimum 4 Feet.

For Female Candidates: Minimum 3 Feet.

• Long Jump:

For Male Candidates: Minimum 12 Feet.

For Female Candidates: Minimum 9 Feet.

• Throw Ball:

For Male Candidates: 16 pound Ball of (16 Feet Length).

For Female Candidates: 12 pound Ball of (10 Feet Length)
